As part of Motorsport Australia's strategy to reduce barriers to participation and administration, our national competition licence structure has had a thorough review.
With 34 types of licences available in 2020, this has been simplified and consolidated into 11 licence products across national competition for 2021 onwards.
Due to FIA requirements, the international licence structure will remain unchanged.
Other endorsements such as the Motorsport Australia Superlicence, or Historic High Performance licence endorsement, will remain free-of-charge to existing Motorsport Australia licence holders.
If you are currently a Motorsport Australia competition licence holder, please click on your applicable licence below to see how the changes may affect you.
If you are applying for a Motorsport Australia licence for the first time, the below products will be available from 1 January, 2021 (to be processed after the Christmas/New Year break on Monday 4 January, 2021).
Licence forms for 2021 applications will be made available from 1 January, 2021.
