Hosted on the iRacing platform, GSRC boasts over 400 financial members and hosts two virtual rounds every weeknight with a mix of racing on weekends. Formed off the back of lockdowns in 2020, GSRC is now headed into its 9th season of racing with Vice President Angus Cooke more excited than ever to get a season started.

“GSRC has been growing and growing season by season at a rate we never could have predicted. We have great backers supporting our club both financially and in a volunteer capacity, without whom we just couldn't function as we currently are. I'm most looking forward to seeing a pack of new Brazilian Stockcars piling into turn 1 at Winton Motor Raceway: a combination that we could never even imagine seeing in the real world."

Beginning Monday 18th April, the club has introduced a new look lineup of racing which includes the latest iRacing content - Stockcar Brasil & the 2021 Mercedes W12 F1 car. GSRC is able to offer a wide variety of racing thanks to the amazing array of content iRacing provides on its service.

This season's racing schedule looks as follows -

  • Monday - GT4, GT3

  • Tuesday - Beginner Social Series, Rallycross

  • Wednesday - Brazilian Stockcars, Porsche Cup

  • Thursday - Formula Vee, TCR

  • Friday - Intro to Wings, Formula 1

  • Saturday - Alternating between NASCAR and the ‘Mountain Men’ Bathurst series

On Top of this packed schedule are impromptu non-championship events on weekends and a year-long Endurance championship that is run once a month. GSRC President David Johnson explains it's the ability to join a race on any given night that keeps bringing members back for more.

“No matter what night of the week it is, the hugely diverse range of racing put on by GSRC means our members can be on track as suits their schedule and choose between everything from GT3 to rallycross, and elite series through to social racing.  The one constant we have across all of our racing is a great supportive and social environment and a genuine interest in seeing people improve and succeed”.

Any iRacing subscriber is eligible to join the GSRC, with membership as low as $12.95 per season or $39 a year which gives you access to every race held by GSRC. Monday, Wednesday and Thursday races will also be broadcast live and the club provides live Race Control to adjudicate incidents in race.
