Feeney claims Super2 crown

Saturday 04 December, 2021
Broc Feeney is the Dunlop Super2 Series winner after the category’s final race at Mount Panorama on Saturday afternoon.

Feeney finished atop the standings, claiming the junior category’s top prize ahead of Jayden Ojeda, with Zak Best rounding out the Series’ overall podium.

It’s been an impressive year for the youngster, with the Series win capping off an exciting 2021 for the Red Bull Ampol Racing junior driver.

On account of his recent performances, Feeney will now make the step up to the main game, replacing seven-time Champion Jamie Whincup in the Repco Supercars Championship from 2022 onwards.

Meanwhile, Nash Morris claimed the Super3 Series after an impressive season of his own.

Both categories wrapped up their weekend with a final race on Saturday afternoon at Mount Panorama, with the interrupted race finishing under safety car after a number of incidents throughout the 100k race.

All eyes at the mountain now turn to the Repco Bathurst 1000 – the final round of the Supercars Championship – which begins on Sunday at 12.15pm AEDT.
