Motorsport Australia festive season closure

Wednesday 16 December, 2020
Members are encouraged to reach out to Motorsport Australia before Monday 21 December.
With the Christmas and New Year holiday period just around the corner, Motorsport Australia can confirm its national office will remain closed during the festive season.

Members will be able to contact member services in the lead up to Christmas, with the Motorsport Australia hotline available during business hours until Monday 21 December. From Tuesday 22 December until Thursday 24 December, the hotline will remain open between 10am and 3pm AEDT and then re-open and return to its normal hours on Monday, 4 January.

Throughout the whole two-week period, emails to member services will be responded to.

Car clubs wanting to affiliate for 2021 must note that there will be no processing of affiliation paperwork or event permits issued during this time.

Clubs and members are encouraged to reach out to finalise any queries, documentation, licence applications or renewals prior to the Christmas and New Year closure.

Members should also note of the recent changes to the Motorsport Australia licence and permits structure via its new ‘More Motorsport More Often’ initiative, aimed at improving access to motorsport.

Reducing the existing number of licence types from 34 to 11, 90 per cent of competitor licence holders will pay less or the same for their 2021 licence renewals.
