Australian rally crews have until 25 October to enter next month’s Kennards Hire Rally Australia.

Taking place on the Coffs Coast on 15-17 November, interested crews have three different competitions to enter with the New South Wales event hosting the CAMS Australian Rally Championship's (ARC) final round, as well as the Rally Australia Cup and the Rally Australia Two-Day Event.

The world’s best rally drivers will also be in attendance with the FIA World Rally Championship’s season finale to be part of the event.

The ARC’s sixth and final round will see competitors battle it out across the full WRC four-day itinerary, which will feature 324 competitive kilometres across 25 stages.

Toyota Gazoo Racing Australia’s Harry Bates and John McCarthy have already taken out the title, but there will still be an intense battle for second place as Bates’ Toyota teammates Lewis Bates and Anthony McLoughlin take on Subaru’s Molly Taylor and Malcolm Read.

Crews interested in being part in the Rally Australia Cup will have a similar schedule of four days and distance of 322km, the only major difference being the competition will endure two stages less.

Vehicles meeting specifications of both CAMS and Motor Sport New Zealand are eligible to compete in the Cup, which includes runs on the Destination NSW Super Special Stage.

The final competition open for entries is the Rally Australia two-day Event, which also begins with Thursday night’s Super Special Stage. Crews will then take on 14 rural and forestry stages covering 223km over the next two days.

With the three competitions open to all CAMS-compliant cars, Australia Clerk of the Course Wayne Kenny believed the event’s structure was created as way to encourage drivers of all levels to enter.

“Driving on some of Australia’s best roads, with big crowds, great atmosphere and high-quality event organisation promise an unforgettable rallying experience,” Kenny said.
