Applications for the 2024 Scuderia Ferrari Driver Academy (FDA) Asia Pacific and Oceania Selection Program at Sepang International Circuit are now open and will close Sunday 16 June 2024 at 11:59pm AEST.

The FDA Asia Pacific and Oceania Selection Program is open to all aspiring drivers aged between 14 - 17 years from the Asia Pacific and Oceania countries listed here are invited to apply: Australia, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Brunei, Burma, Cambodia, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Laos, Malaysia, Nepal, New Zealand, Pakistan, Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Chinese Taipei, Thailand, Vietnam.
The aim of this program is to find the best young talent in our region and have them compete in the Scuderia Ferrari Driver Academy Finals in Italy for a place in the Scuderia Ferrari Driver Academy.
Drivers will be trained and tested in the latest Top Speed prepared Tatuus Formula 4 Generation 2 car on the famous Sepang circuit, in front of the Scuderia Ferrari Driver Academy scouts, competing for a place in the Scuderia Ferrari Driver Academy Finals in Italy later this year.

Program Details
- Track time and testing in Formula 4 cars
- Support from professional mechanics (including car preparation)
- Advice and training from professional F4 race engineers
- Dedicated race engineer for the entire time on track
- Dedicated track time across two days, competing for a third and final selection day
- Fitness training and testing
- Media, Sponsorship and Data Analysis testing and training
- Nutrition and psychology workshops
Please note, as per last year, there will be a cost for successful applicants to attend the selection program, which will need to be paid once the finalists are chosen.
Young drivers will have to demonstrate their abilities on track to the Ferrari team across the first two days to be selected for the final day.
Official testing in the cars at Sepang before the event will be available to all drivers selected to attend the program. Local testing of cars is also available in some areas, contact Motorsport Australia ([email protected])

It is expected that some drivers will be coming straight from Karting, with little experience in open wheel cars. This is common for the FDA and Motorsport Australia will assist drivers to find opportunities to test before the program, to ensure drivers can show their full potential.
Those who took part in the 2023 program are welcome to apply again for 2024.
